Mechanic
We're looking for a mechanic who finds the real problem, fixes it right the first time and can explain it in plain words. You'll work on all makes and models, cars and pickups, in a shop that does body and mechanical work under one roof.
What you'll do
- Diagnose check-engine lights, no-starts and drivability problems
- Repair brakes, steering, suspension, A/C, and starting and charging systems
- Do oil changes and scheduled maintenance
- Write down what you found and what the vehicle needs, so the customer gets a clear estimate
- Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs
- Keep your bay clean and safe
What we're looking for
- Hands-on experience repairing cars and trucks in a shop
- Comfortable with scan tools and tracking down electrical problems
- A valid driver's license, for test drives
- On time, dependable, and proud of your work
A plus, but not required
- ASE certifications
- EPA Section 609 certification for A/C work (or willing to get it)
- Experience with pickups
- Speaking Spanish is a plus, but not required
